Arrival in Colombia

Your driver will meet you at the airport upon your arrival. After a 15-minute drive, you will arrive at your hotel for a well-deserved rest. Evening at leisure.

Day 2

Tayronaka

Transfer from Cartagena to Tayrona (5 hours)

Discover a unique pre-Columbian site in the region, combining culture and nature, a true gateway to the origins of the territory. Both flower-filled and protected, this site allows you to immerse yourself in the culture of the Tayrona indigenous people. Its charming little museum will introduce you to ancestral traditions far removed from modernity.

Day 3

Cocoa Farm

From coca to cocoa, learn about the inspiring and resilient journey of a former farmer. You'll learn about all the steps involved in processing cocoa, from bean to powder. To top it all off, you'll end this experience with a tasting session overlooking spectacular views.

Day 4

Playa Brava

Discover Tayrona Park in a whole new way! Follow a trail that winds its way up and down through lush jungle, where local wildlife will keep you company.
Once you've completed the hike, you'll be rewarded with the park's most secluded beach: Playa Brava. A haven of peace, ideal for unwinding and falling asleep to the sound of the waves.

Day 5

Tayrona Park

On your secondème day in the park, take advantage of the return trip to swim in the heavenly waters of Cabo San Juan or La Piscina! Once you leave the park, head to Santa Marta for a well-deserved rest!

Cienaga Grande

Transfer from Santa Marta to Ciénaga Grande (1 hour)

Explore the Pueblos Palafitos, unique villages built on stilts, such as Nueva Venecia and Buenavista. These communities have developed a culture and way of life adapted to this aquatic environment. Their colorful houses floating on the water offer a striking sight.

Day 7

Mompox

Transfer from Ciénaga to Mompox (5 hours)

Pack your bags and head to “ the Sleeping Beauty", a timeless gem nestled on the banks of the Magdalena River. With your guide, lose yourself in the magic of Mompox, its hidden treasures, and fascinating stories. Immerse yourself in the Caribbean soul of Colombia—poetic, mysterious, and enchanting.

Day 8

Filigree & Cienaga

Try your hand at the art of filigree, which has made Mompox famous, and create a delicate piece of jewelry. Then, head to the Ciénaga de Pijiño to discover the area's rich bird life and observe numerous species of birds. An unforgettable day combining tradition and nature.

Day 9

Rincon del Mar

Transfer from Mompox to Rincon del Mar (4.5 hours)

After a busy first week, you're finally able to relax! Enjoy the Caribbean Sea and the hotel's beautiful facilities to unwind and relax.

Day 10

Mangroves

After a lazy day, set off in the late afternoon on a pirogue adventure through the mangroves. Once you reach dry land, look up to see the sloths hanging from the trees! Then, enjoy the spectacle of the last rays of sunshine on the Caribbean Sea.

Day 11

Turban Workshops

Kate will tell you about the history of the turban tradition, its meaning, and its importance to Afro-Colombian communities. She will show you her colorful fabrics and share with you the art of tying a turban. An activity with a feminist and socially conscious spirit.

Day 12

Cartagena

Transfer from Rincon del Mar to Cartagena (3 hours)

Walk around one of the jewels of the Caribbean coast: Cartagena! Historically one of Colombia's most important cities, you'll be immersed in the history of heroes and important figures. Wooden balconies, bougainvilleas of every color, charming squares... You'll be amazed!

Day 13

La Boquilla

You will set off to the fishing village of La Boquilla, located about twenty minutes from Cartagena. Protected by a law prohibiting large-scale construction, you will sail through the mangroves and enjoy the authenticity and tranquility of the area. Finally, you will try your hand at fishing before enjoying a meal prepared with your catch of the day.

Day 14

Last moments in Cartagena

To end your stay on a high note, there's nothing better than strolling through the narrow streets of Cartagena! Make the most of your last day to buy some souvenirs, visit the Inquisition Museum or the Naval Museum, or enjoy a drink on one of the rooftop terraces in the old town.
