Day by day
Day 1
Arrival in Colombia
Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport by your driver. After a short drive of about 30 minutes, you will arrive at your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest and acclimatize to the altitude in Bogotá. Evening at leisure.

Day 2
Tatacoa Desert
Flight from Bogota to Neiva (1 hour)
You will set off for one of Colombia's most surprising landscapes: the Tatacoa Desert. Here, the reliefs sculpted by time reveal a palette of colors, punctuated by giant cacti. Settle in near the desert, then explore this setting on foot with your guide.

Day 3
San Agustin
Transfer from Villavieja to San Agustin (5 hours)
Head to the pre-Columbian archaeological sites of San Agustin. You will discover the peaceful atmosphere of the village before getting your first glimpse of its archaeological sites, El Tablón and Chaquira, scattered throughout the heart of nature.

Day 4
Archeological park
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this park will reveal the mysteries of this ancient civilization, closely linked to the forces of nature and the spiritual world. A visit to Purutal and La Pelota will allow you to admire imposing stone statues, guardians of ancient tombs.

Day 5
Alto de las Piedras & Trapiche
Walk to the Mortiño waterfall, before exploring the archaeological sites of Alto de las Piedras and Alto de los Ídolos, which bear witness to pre-Columbian cultures. The day ends with a visit to a trapiche, where you can watch panela being made by hand.

Day 6
Zipaquira
Flight from Pitalito to Bogota (1.5 hours) and transfer from airport to Zipaquira (1 hour)
Today you will fly to Zipaquirá, a small Andean town famous for its mining heritage and salt cathedral. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 7
Villa de Leyva
Transfer from Zipaquira to Villa de Leyva (3 hours)
This morning, you will stop at the old salt mine, which has been transformed into a place that is as surprising as it is symbolic. Upon arrival in Villa de Leyva, your guide will help you discover the charms of this village, whose center is one of the best preserved in Colombia.

Day 8
Wool & weaving workshop
Meet a family of weavers near Villa de Leyva and learn about wool production, from shearing sheep to hand weaving. A chance to share in rural traditions. Lunch at the farm.

Day 9
Las Gachas
Transfer from Villa de Leyva to Barichara (4.5 hours)
Halfway between Villa de Leyva and Barichara, a break is planned at an amazing natural site. You will discover Las Gachas, natural hot springs where you can take a dip. Upon arrival in Barichara, you will participate in a workshop dedicated to handmade paper, inspired by local craftsmanship.

Day 10
Barichara & Guane
After a tuk-tuk ride, you will stroll at your own pace through the village of Guane and enjoy a charming lunch at a farm. In the afternoon, return to Barichara and visit the magnificent village, which has been classified as a National Heritage Site since 1978. Old stones and whitewashed walls await you.

Day 11
Chicamocha & Girón
Transfer from Barichara to Girón (3 hours)
Take to the skies today and enjoy incredible scenery! Take the cable car and admire the spectacular Chicamocha Valley. Then stroll through the cobbled streets of Girón, admiring its immaculate facades and carved wooden balconies.

Day 12
Bogota & Gold Museum
Flight from Bucaramanga to Bogota (1 hour)
You will leave Giron and head to Bogotá. Settle into the historic district of La Candelaria, where narrow streets and colorful houses bear witness to the days when Bogotá was still just a village. You will then set off to explore the Gold Museum, which houses one of the richest collections of pre-Columbian goldwork in the country.

Day 13
Departure
Your Colombian adventure is slowly coming to an end. You have a few more hours to soak up the country's energy, stroll through the bustling streets, and leave with a heart full of memories and wonderful encounters.
